Prevention is the key to good health. Our Doctor-lead Health Screenings and Wellness Checks will reveal whether you're as healthy on the inside as you appear to be on the outside. The tests and accompanying report will identify those areas in which your health could be improved and make some recommendations as to how this can be achieved.


Healthy Man Check

This check up incorporates a number of general health checks focussing on the key risk factors but also includes specific tests where indicated, such as those for prostate health or more detailed heart checks.
 
Healthy Man Check:

  • Review of questionnaire
  • Height, Weight & BP
  • Urinalysis
  • Blood Tests, where indicated*
  • Lipid Profile (cholesterol and blood fats)                              from £225.00*
  • Blood Glucose, to test for diabetes
  • Resting ECG
  • PEFR
  • Coronary Risk Profile
  • Written Report, within 10 working days

For the over fifties and those with elevated risk factors, additional tests may be recommended*

Healthy Woman Check

Our Healthy Woman Check focuses specifically on female health and covers health aspects and issues appropriate and relevant to the individual female at different stages of her life, for example contraception, fertility, pre-conception, menopause
 
Although this check-up is primarily designed to provide a gynaecological check, it also includes other important health issues
 
Healthy Woman Check:

  • Review of questionnaire
  • Height, Weight & BP
  • Urinalysis
  • Haemoglobin (iron levels)                                                 from £225.00*
  • Lipid Profile (cholesterol and blood fats)
  • Blood Glucose (to test for diabetes)
  • Breast Examination, if requested
  • Pelvic Examination and Cervical Screen Test
  • Written Report, within 10 working days

Executive Health Screening
 
This Doctor-lead top-to-toe health screening, specific tests and the accompanying report will indicate those areas in which early action will help you to improve your health. 
The screening incorporates:
 
  • Questionnaire, incorporating current and previous medical history
  • Height, Weight & BP
  • Full Medical Examination
  • Resting ECG
  • Lung Function Test (Vitalograph)                                       from £480.00*
  • Coronary Risk Assessment
  • Audiometry
  • Visual Acuity, including colour testing
  • Pelvic Examination and Cervical Screen Test – women only
  • Urinalysis
  • Blood Tests, including full range of haematological parameters, biochemical parameters including blood glucose, kidney and liver function, bone biochemistry, serum calcium and full lipid profile (NOTE: blood tests incur an additional charge and will only be ordered after discussion with the Doctor)
  • Written Report, within 10 working days
